Leslie Ellen Lewis - Artist
I am a Somerville, MA Arts Council grant recipient for my series of infrared black and white photos, "Portraits of a Different Wavelength." After a break, I came back to photography as an art form at age 60. Previously, I studied art as a child, and as a young adult, I made rent by selling watercolors on the sidewalks of Berkeley, CA.
I have studied with the renowned Boston area photographer Karl Baden, and was included in several solo, duo, and group shows throughout the Boston area. I also wrote poetry and was featured in several Boston area venues. Today, I am also an oil painter. I have studied painting with NH artist and art historian Christoper Volpe. Presently I live in Durham, NH.
